Belgian Inspired Beer Tour:
PORTLAND, Ore. (October 12, 2012) ⎯ Belgian
has inspired brewers and beer drinkers, creating a following for their
distinctive brews. BREWVANA Brewery Tours has taken that inspiration and
created a tour for die hard Belgian beer lovers and Belgian beer novices alike.
The tour will take place Saturday, October 20th from 12:00 – 5:30 pm,
visiting pFriem Family Brewing, Bazi Bierbrasserie and North 45 Pub.
The tour will begin with a ride to Hood River to visit pFriem
Family Brewing, the new Belgian-inspired brewery that has been rated “best new
brewery” by Sip Northwest Magazine. After beer sampling and appetizers the tour
returns to Portland to visit two Belgian beer bars, Bazi Bierbrasserie and
North 45 Pub. Both stops will be sampling an assortment of locally made Belgian
beers as well as those from abroad served along with additional appetizers.
Tickets for BREWVANA’s Belgian Inspired Beer Tour are
$89/person and include transportation, all food and beer, pretzel necklace,

Beer And Pumpkins Tour:

Brewery Tours is getting in the spirit of the season, offering adults a chance
to combine the childhood fun of selecting the perfect Halloween pumpkin with
one of the most delicious benefits of being an adult, beer. The tour visits
Kruger’s Farm Market and the Captured by Porches beer bus on Sauvie Island,
taking place Sunday, October 21st 12:00 – 2:30 p.m.
The tour starts at Kruger’s Farm Market for BYOP – buy
your own pumpkin – picking. The farm has pumpkins of all sizes and shapes
offering just the right pumpkin for every taste. Once the pumpkins have been
selected beer tasting commences at the Captured by Porches beer bus. Captured
by Porches started as an eclectic homebrew club and has grown to include three
beer buses. Their Invasive Species IPA is available year round a selection of
seasonal brews including Emma and Punctured by Corpses Undead Porter.
