New IPA's At Laurelwood, Plus Limited Workhorse Production

Looks like a couple of new seasonal IPA's to be released at Laurelwood. They both sound killer. I look very forward to the new offerings coming out of Laurelwood with their latest Brewmaster Vasili Gletsos.

Aftershock IPA:
Big citrus notes, big hops.
7.1% Alc. by Vol.
72 IBU

Best Bet IPA:
Balanced and citrus hops. Brewed with some wheat malt.
6.8% Alc. by Vol.
55 IBU

Plus a few words from Vasili about Workhorse IPA & its mad use of hops:

"I wanted to take a moment and address the future of Workhorse IPA with you. Due to the high demand for a few key hops we use in the Workhorse recipe, we will soon be producing some of our last batches until late Fall. Hops are an agricultural product. Due to the popularity of Workhorse, we have limited supplies of the hops we need to produce our wildly successful IPA. We also do not want to modify the recipe, compromising the quality that we have all come to love. The good news is that the new hop crop is growing on the vine as we speak! When the new crops come in, we will start the production of Workhorse again.

In the meantime, we have released some wonderful new seasonal beers that are sure to satisfy your craving for a quality IPA, and we are releasing a new permanent IPA soon.

We will continue serving Workhorse IPA from our taps until it runs dry, but in order to supply our restaurant and bar guests as long as we can, we have ceased all dock sales of Workhorse.

Workhorse will be back, but in the meantime I want to thank you for your continued patronage of Laurelwood Brewing Company.

Sincerely,

Vasili Gletsos

Brewmaster
